CONVIVA – Preventing violence through education
Conviva consists of a series of workshops that have a global objective: to create a healthy environment of peaceful interaction that contributes to the development and potential of young people. To do this, we aim Conviva at three main groups:
⇒ Young people within public establishments
⇒ Teachers and directors
⇒ Parents and guardians
These three groups can collaborate to end dysfunctionality.
The program employs; systematic and recreational workshops, psychology and motivational speeches with themes such as; self-esteem, identity relationships, etc. It is developed in an integrated way, guided by teachers, staff and Donamor representatives.
Over the last 6 years we have trained over 15,000 people, who have all benefitted greatly. To do this, we developed a group of professionals and experts in; peaceful interaction, community living, entrepreneurship, leadership and relationships including couples, family, gender equality, sexual and reproductive health and much more.
With this program, we hope to inspire the youth of today to be the protagonists of their own story and not the victims of their circumstances, so that they may be able to seek positive opportunities to live, love, dream and give.
